The medical drama just keeps on getting served like pancakes. It seems that Hollywood has really hit the vein this time with
Grey's Anatomy episodes. This is the latest accessory to the hospital
soap opera. The cheesy lines have definitely lessened. There are more interesting storylines and better acting. But still, can Hollywood really capture a practical hospital scene? I asked a good buddy of mine who was an intern at the Mt.
She said that even before
watch Grey's Anatomy episodes, she was already skeptic about the entire thing.
Luckily , Grey's Anatomy made one or two great things. For one, it didn't show doctors having sex in the call rooms.
You have the timid but strong former model Izzie played by Katherine Heigl, the awkward George played by T.R. I suppose it does occur occasionally that there are examples when interns and their highers get together and get to become flings. But there's a good deal of improbability of this in actuality because most attending physicians are just traditional, and married, and evil. I think if your attending consultant's got the same mug as Patrick Dempsey, then I guess it would be likelier.
A big theme in
Grey's Anatomy episodes is the head butting of the doctor's egos. But I must say I'm doubtful. I suspect doctors do butt heads plenty of times. But one can't discount the incontrovertible fact that in the final analysis, what's vital for these doctors is getting the patient cured.
One more plus point for the show is the realistic portrayals of the panic young doctors feel the 1st time a patient goes into something scary like a convulsion and the fact is you do not know what to do about it. The way Dr. Grey experienced in the first few
watch Grey's Anatomy episodes.
I am actually addicted to this show now, though when it first came out I ruthlessly ignored it and declined to watch. Then one day, I watched and I got hooked.
As hot for movies like An Affair to remember , it's a amazing Life, Miracle on 34th Street and others of that ilk, it's no wonder that I was drawn to this show.
The way the writers come up with this stuff is astounding to me, but I guess it is no better or worse than real life. One of the finest shows of the new season is it's first episode called Good Mourning.
Grey's Anatomy, this is the one that got me hooked.
